Is this cane right for me?

We hope so! Here are some factors that make our cane unique. Please consult a healthcare professional before using our products.

— The “hook” design of the handle provides some spring. Depending on the force applied, it can bend up to 3cm. This feature can be useful for active cane users who like a bit of spring when they walk.
— Our canes are primarily designed to aid with balance. They are not intended to bear your full body weight, like a crutch may be — so you shouldn’t use them to fully support you while going up or down stairs, or getting into or out of a seated position. While they can withstand up to 130 pounds of force applied from the top, we don’t recommend exerting that much pressure on them. Your weight and the way that you walk are both factors in how much force you will apply on the top of the cane.
— Total product weight: about 1 pound.

What length cane should I purchase?

Appropriate cane length depends on your height and how you will be using it. Check out this page from the Mayo Clinic for more on how to find your appropriate cane height.

We offer three standard lengths, along with the possibility of custom lengths. Please contact us to learn more about custom lengths.

Are your canes adjustable?

Our canes are made out of wood, and are therefore not adjustable.
